Take a First Look at the Ice Breaker Ride Car

20 Nov 2019

The brand new Ice Breaker ride car has been unveiled at IAAPA. The excitement is mounting for the opening of SeaWorld's first ever launch coaster, opening in spring 2020.

Named after the icy Arctic summits, Ice Breaker will feature four airtime filled launches, both backwards and forwards, culminating in a reverse launch into the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida - a 93 feet tall spike with 100 degree angle. The thrills continue as riders fly over a near vertical tophat manoeuvre into a series of exciting twists, turns, and airtime hills. The brand-new coaster will be located across from Wild Arctic.

Alaska SeaLife Center

With the addition of Ice Breaker, we're excited to announce a new partnership with the Alaska SeaLife Center, a dedicated research, rescue, rehabilitation, and education facility. We look forward to sharing additional information in the coming months on how this new attraction will help share the mission of this incredible organisation.
