Mako

Rated 5/5

Now open at SeaWorld Orlando is Mako, a 200-foot-tall hypercoaster that reaches speeds of up to 73 mph along 4,760 feet of steel track — nearly a mile long — leaving riders feeling both breathless and weightless. Mako is the tallest, fastest and longest coaster in Orlando!

Mako's tight turns and speed are inspired by one of the ocean’s fastest sharks - Mako sharks, also called “blue pointers”, which are known for their top speed, making extreme jumps and the ability to quickly change course as they pursue their prey. Mako allows you to experience what it’s like to be this apex predator, surging through the water at top speed and chasing prey throughout a massive reef.

The new coaster is one of the world’s few true hypercoasters, a group of roller coasters known for high speeds, tall hills and steep drops that create a feeling of weightlessness.

Mako is the centrepiece of Shark Wreck Reef – a new two-acre realm inspired by an underwater shipwreck. The area also features Shark Encounter, Sharks Underwater Grill, shops and educational experiences dedicated to the many amazing species of sharks in the wild.

What a ride, we arrived early when the park opened and got on this ride and kept going on and on until the que got big. We even had to go back to sea world to go on this ride before we left to return home! If ur a thrill seeker u should give this a go.

Fantastic day had by all

Rated 5/5

We decided to get the quick que pass as the park was very busy. What a day we had we got on all the rides within minutes off getting to the ride entry. We even duplicated the rides. We had a one time pass for Cobras curse. The staff at the park was very pleasant as it was a vey hot day and had water sprays if h wanted cooling down they would spray u. I would definitely advise on the quick que when the park is busy. We had a fantastic day down at Busch gardens.
